Silent farewell on the mountain meadow
Otto loved the mountains and freedom and that is where his life should end, he often told his wife Ruth. Unfortunately, Otto became seriously ill and fought until the end, but the cancer was stronger and won the race for life or death.
The pain was great for Ruth and she herself also had her infirmities, especially walking without a rollator had become impossible. The childless marriage had lasted more than 60 years and the widow liked to look at the album with the photos of their joined hikes in the beautiful Swiss countryside in the quiet living room.
And so the day came when she decided to part with her husband after the urn had remained at her home for a few months. She still had a lot to say to her late husband and also scolded the Lord that it was unfair to take away what was dearest to her just like that. So Ruth had the urn collected by our company and we were allowed to hand Otto over to his world, the mountains, of freedom. We gladly accepted your letter of thanks for the funeral photos and wish Ruth only the best on this way. And yes, it is not difficult to guess where Ruth also chose her final resting place.
