Mountain stream, drought and rain

For a long time, Elieen was not sure where her beloved dad should be buried.
They were talked at a lot and often had to hear: "You don't do that", "that's not proper" or similar.

But Elieen prevailed, took dad's urn under her arm and travelled to our place with her son. The mountain stream had very little water, as it had not rained for a long time. So the two of them laid a grave in the almost dry stream bed made of stone, wood and flowers, whatever they could find in nature. After the work was done, they had lunch in the chalet on the mountain meadow. The food was simple but very tasty and as city dwellers it was a welcome change to enjoy a meal on the terrace in the middle of meadow fields and grazing cows.

Coincidences do not exist, they find us and so it was that it began to rain. Two umbrellas, quick steps to watch the spectacle as the creek bed filled up and Elieen's dad was now sent on his way, as if the rain clouds had specially waited for this occasion. This was an unforgettable experience for our guests and numerous souvenir photos were taken before mum and son were led back down into the valley.
